Prayer Meetings

We place a strong emphasis on prayer at Desert Streams.  Why? Well, when we look at the life of Jesus when He grew as a man here on earth, He prayed often to His Father in heaven. Secondly, the Bible says, "My house shall be a house of prayer," and that He will "make us joyful in His house of prayer." Is it really possible to be "joyful" in His house of prayer?  If we really understand who God is, what He is like, and how He values people, yes, it can be joyful.
